Terms of Service

Updated 19 November 2025

Welcome to Rea, an interactive Bible app designed to support your spiritual growth through personalized AI conversations, Scripture memory, daily study guidance, and prayer features. We believe God’s Word is a lifelong companion, and Rea is built to help it feel that way—remembering your journey, offering gentle insights, and pointing you back to Jesus every time. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Rea Interactive Bible App (“Rea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Rea app or website (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable app store terms (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play). If you don’t agree, please don’t use Rea. These Terms outline what you can expect from us, your responsibilities as a user, and how we keep things safe and respectful. Rea is a tool to enrich your faith, not a substitute for personal Bible study, church community, pastoral counsel, or professional advice. Always test everything against Scripture and seek wise counsel when needed.

You must be at least 4 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Rea. By using Rea, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you create an account, you agree to: - Provide accurate information (name, email) and keep it updated. - Use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication if available. - Not share your account with others or let anyone else access it. - Notify us immediately at support@reabible.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, inactivity, or safety reasons, with or without notice.

You’re welcome to use Rea for your personal, non-commercial spiritual growth: reading Scripture, chatting with the AI for insights, building memory cards, journaling prayers, following daily plans, and any other features we provide. You agree to: - Use Rea respectfully and in line with biblical values (no hate speech, harassment, spam, illegal content, or anything contrary to Christian love and truth). - Follow all applicable laws in your location. - Not attempt to overload, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the app (e.g., no automated scripts, bots, or scraping). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use Rea for these personal purposes. This license automatically ends if you violate these Terms or if we terminate your access for any reason.

Rea offers AI-guided Bible study, reflections, and prayer generation based on your inputs. It's not infallible, not a theologian, and not a replacement for: - Professional counseling (mental health, marriage, etc.). - Medical, legal, or financial advice. - Ordained pastoral care or church community. AI responses draw from Scripture and general knowledge but may contain errors. Always verify with trusted sources, pray, and consult experts for serious matters. If you’re in crisis, reach out to professionals or hotlines immediately.

Rea’s AI remembers your conversations, highlights, prayers, and progress to make interactions personal and ongoing. You own your inputs and outputs (e.g., your notes, generated prayers) feel free to save, share, or delete them. We may use anonymized data to improve Rea (e.g., spotting common questions), but never your personal details without consent. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling. You agree not to: - Input harmful, illegal, or abusive content. - Try to “jailbreak” the AI or bypass safeguards. - Use outputs for commercial purposes without permission.

Rea includes over 100 Bible translations (e.g., KJV, NIV, ESV, NLT) from licensed public domain and partner sources. We respect copyrights and only use what’s permitted for personal study. Generated content (devotionals, prayers) is original but inspired by Scripture. Attribute Rea if sharing publicly. You may not copy, distribute, or modify Rea’s content (including the Bible text) for commercial use or beyond fair personal/educational sharing.

Your privacy is sacred. We collect only what’s needed for Rea to work (e.g., chat history for memory) and handle it with end-to-end encryption. We never sell data or use it for ads. For details, read our Privacy Policy.

Rea may send push notifications for daily verses, study reminders, or prayer prompts—if you opt in during setup. You can manage or turn them off anytime in Settings > Notifications. Emails (e.g., support replies, rare updates) come only if you subscribe or contact us. Unsubscribe links are always included.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rea and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, loss of spiritual progress, or any decisions made based on the app’s content or suggestions, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Rea is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted access. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

We may update these Terms to reflect app changes or legal needs. We’ll notify you via email, in-app notice, or the website—at least 30 days before major changes, except for clarifications or fixes (effective immediately). Continued use after changes means you accept them. Check back periodically.
